Allow output into a subdirectory within an S3 bucket
The output of a conversion job only writes to the top-level directory within an S3 bucket. Allow a subdirectory to be specified: i.e. s3://bucket/dir1/dir2

for your iPhone variable bitrate encoding, add final m3u8 file name to the notification message
we get notifications for all of the separate bitrates encoded as they complete, but do not get a notification showing the name of the final m3u8 file that ties everything together. Those appear to have a name based on an incrementing id, and have nothing in common with the actual stream name or id that I can find.

add better error info for debugging S3 integration.
I'm having a bit of trouble getting the S3 integration setup. There is no feedback from ankoder about if S3 is configured properly, just that the test file was sent to the configured URL.

Add JSON support to API
XML is harder to work with because it ends up being parsed into an object tree which is not as easy to work with as native data structure.
Please add JSON support, because it can be easily parsed into native data structures in one line.

Support WebM format
You reference http://camendesign.com/code/video_for_everybody which I used when creating my own video conversion ... however, i don't really know the in's and out's of video conversion. You're tool is awesome and I'd LOVE IT if you supported WebM as well!!!

Allow deleting of queued Jobs
Not sure what's up, but my avg wait time for my 50+ queued jobs is over 7 hrs. Are Ankoder encoding servers down? My jobs are all for testing purposes and should be terminated away, too bad I see no way to do this from the API or from the web UI. I'm a trial user -- a developer contracted by a large tech media company who would use Ankoder quite a bit -- and was happy with Ankoder, spending days integrating a demo app with API until now. My test jobs are hanging, I can't delete them, and I… more

maximum file size check during upload process
We are using trial version of Ankoder .We are building a application where user can upload videos in our Ankoder account and that video will be uploaded on S3 after conversion. Now we want to put check for maximum file size.
As the upload form action goes on Ankoder server we can not check it on server side, and there is no reliable method to check file size on client side
I suggest to put a hidden field in Upload form like max_file_size. If file uploaded by user exceed max_file_size value Ankoder

Allow removal of broken downloads from "Currently Downloading".

files can only be streamed with the RTSP protocol if they're hinted.
